Before heading to the U.S., Ewan was part of the Maidenhead United setup. In 2018, he secured a scholarship to play at NCAA Division II powerhouse, the University of Indianapolis. During his time there, he helped the team win two league titles, two regional championships, and reach back-to-back National Semi-Finals. He made 68 appearances and was part of a squad that, at one point, ranked as the No. 1 NCAA DII team in the country. In his final season, he was named one of the team captains and graduated with a degree in Marketing, achieving a 3.64 GPA.

Following his four years at UIndy, Ewan transferred to Carson-Newman University in Tennessee to pursue a Master’s degree in Business Administration. During his final season, he made 16 appearances while graduating with his MBA. Alongside his collegiate career, Ewan also played in USL2 for Houston Sur in the summer of 2023 and was invited to professional combines following his performances.

Still playing at a high semi-professional level, Ewan is passionate about helping the next generation of athletes experience the same incredible U.S. college pathway that shaped his career.
